Five Element Qi Gong - 3 Week Series

Five Element Qi Gong is a system of Chinese Qi Gong exercises designed to regulate and harmonize the five elements or phases of the body and cosmos: metal, water, wood, fire and earth.

Simple, yet profound, these movements can be practiced daily to regulate the organs and meridians while simultaneously aligning the joints and soft tissues.

Regular practice of these exercises will positively affect the spirits of the element organs to cultivate spiritual harmony and well-being.

In this class you will learn the form, healing principles and self-practice recommendations

Sun Tai Chi Fundamentals - 10 Week Series

Location: Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine, 6363 7th Ave S.

This series will introduce students to the fundamentals of Sun Style Tai Chi Chuan (孙氏太极拳).

Sun Tai Chi is one of the five primary styles of tai chi and was developed by Sun Lutang in the early 20th Century. This unique style combines elements of Yang Style Tai Chi, Ba Gua and Xing Yi.

Students will learn foundational movements to build strength, flexibility, mindful alignment and dynamic balance.

This series draws from curriculum developed by Yi Shui Training Centre (易水武艺传习社) as taught by Master Su Zifang and Master Yun Zhao.

Cost: $250 for 10 week series. No Commitment 1st class. Come try and pay only if you stay!

Level 1 Essential Protocols and Principles

Classical Tui Na Level 1 teaches 15 basic hand techniques, concepts of touch, and how classical tui na theory and practice integrates into the theory and practice of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Students will learn a back-regulating protocol and building blocks for core protocols of upper, lower limbs and face and neck. Students will learn Qi Gong Hand Strengthening exercises foundational to their tui na practice.
